An interview at GİGDER EstateTalks on “The Vision of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre in International Real Estate Sales” was held moderated by Hakan Bucak, Chairman of Mars Investment with the participation of Gökhan Çanakçı, Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, and Bayram Tekçe, Chairman of Tekçe Overseas.

Gökhan Çanakçı stated that 2 British citizens in Kas Land Registry Directorate has sold their house to another British citizen living in Germany and Turkey has broken new ground in the world in this regard. In addition, Mr. Çanakçı warned companies engaged in fraudulent citizenship transactions with misleading advertisements. Stating that the biggest problem of the sector is licensing and certification, Bayram Tekçe said, “We know that uncontrolled sales made by non-competent people pollute the name of our country. We know that international investors who bought real estates in Turkey are not unhappy because they can not find interlocutors. With this licensing, a solution center will be formed, as GİGDER, we attach importance to licensing and certification and we aim to be a dispute resolution center.”
